Monday - August 26 - Kickoff meeting at Talton's River House

John Longshore and Barry McKnight - Sports Radio Host  

As co-host of radio talk show, “Sports Line with Longshore and McKnight” John and Barry bring over 20 years of sports analysis and sportscasting to the Club. John is known to have a Crimson view, as a sports analyst for Alabama News Network. Barry is also the play-by-play radio voice of the Troy Trojans on Troy Sports Radio Network.  

Monday - September 9 - Allen Greene

Allen Greene - Athletic Director, Auburn University 

As a former Notre Dame baseball player and MLB 9th Round draft pick

of the New York Yankees, Allen knows is way around the field. After a

4 yr. career playing for several Yankee Farm Teams Greene eventually

served as the AD at the university of Buffalo and as an assistant AD at

Ole Miss. Currently, he is living on the Plains as Auburn’s AD.

September 23 - Jim Donnan

Jim Donnan - Former Head Football Coach - University of Georgia


This former North Carolina State University QB was named ACC

Player of the year after beating Georgia in the 1967 Liberty Bowl. He

won a 1-AA National title with Marshall before becoming the Head

Coach at Georgia. Donnan was inducted into the College Football

Hall of Fame. as a coach in 2009 and currently serves as a TV analyst

and as a motivational speaker.

Monday - October 7 - Head Coach - Chip Lindsey

Chip Lindsey - Head Football Coach Troy University

Troy University’s Head Coach may look familiar, having served as

Offensive coordinator at Auburn for the 2017 and 2018 football

seasons and as a Quarterbacks coach at Troy University in 2010.

Lindsey also served as the offensive coordinator at the University of

Southern Mississippi, and Arizona State University before being

named Head Football Coach at Troy University in 2019.

Monday - October 14 - Head Coach - Bruce Pearl - Family Night

Bruce Pearl - Head Coach Auburn Men's Basketball 

In the 2019 NCAA tournament Auburn became only the second

team in NCAA history to defeat the 3 winningest programs in college

basketball history in the same season. Pearl’s Auburn team topped

#4 Kansas advancing to their first Sweet Sixteen appearance in 16

yrs. Auburn then beat #1 North Carolina to move into the Elite Eight,

before defeating #2 Kentucky in OT. Auburn then played in their first

ever Final Four before falling to Virginia.

Monday - October 21 - John Parker Wilson

 John Parker Wilson - Former QB - University of Alabama

Wilson led Hoover to 2 State championships before earning the start

at Alabama. When he left Alabama he held every significant

passing record. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons. After his football

career, he became a financial adviser, currently working for Morgan

Stanley and as a color commentator Alabama Football.

Monday - October 28 - Jill Arrington - Ladies Night

Jill Arrington

Jill is a veteran sportscaster known for her work on national television,

covering the NFL and college football sidelines as a sports reporter

and anchor for several sports networks over the past 20 years. Jill was

 a reporter with KCBS 2 and KCAL 9 in Los Angeles.


Monday, November 11 - Tony Barnhart - Big Ticket & Scholarship Night

Tony Barnhart  

Mr. College Football, Tony Barnhart, seems to be everywhere during

the season. He currently appears as a college football insider for CBS

Sports on their college football coverage and hosts The Tony

Barnhart Show on CBS College Network. He also hosts an afternoon

radio show on Atlanta's "790 the zone" with Wes Durham.
